Are You Stuck In COMPLICATED Grief?
Grief is a universal human experience - but not all grief is the same.
Sadness is the normal reaction to a loss in life. That's the experience of SIMPLE grief.
But - if you're suffering from COMPLICATED grief, you don't just experience normal sadness.
Go through the list below. If any of the items apply to you - particularly in the aftermath of loss - you could well be suffering from complicated grief rather than simple grief.
- Are you unable to sleep?
- Do you have difficulty managing everyday responsibilities at work, school or home?
- Do you feel confused, or in a daze?
- Do you have a sense of hopelessness and apathy about life?
- Are you struggling with feelings of inadequacy or helplessness?
- Are you overwhelmed by feelings of fear, anxiety or dread?
- Do you get stuck in feelings of loneliness, abandonment or rejection?
- Are you feeling guilt, shame or self-loathing?
- Do you experience waves of rage and anger?
- Are you feeling resentment, vindictiveness, bitterness, jealousy or envy?
- Do you struggle with feelings of distrust and betrayal?
- Are you lost in unrelenting sorrow and anguish, even months or years after your loss?
- Are compulsive or addictive behaviors taking over your life since your loss?
If that describes you, you need better information in order to find a path to real recovery.
You can get that information in my free messages. You'll learn about the causes and effects of complicated grief - and (most importantly) how to effectively recover. Many people who need bereavement support have found them truly helpful.
As someone who suffered from complicated grief after many losses, here's what I want you to know: You really can get better - and you don't have to suffer forever.
